The countdown of two cult pioneers: The German streetwear label Live Fast Die Young and the global lifestyle brand New Era from Buffalo/New York announce the exclusive 59FIFTY collaboration: The new LFDY x New Era collaboration will officially launch on August 31st at 11am.
The history of LFDY and New Era is deeply rooted in the streetwear scene. Since their inception, both brands have proven time and time again that they not only share a passion for apparel and sports, but also identity and culture. New Era, the world's best-known headwear and apparel manufacturer, has inspired generations. For the LFDY team, the brand has been a symbol of style and authenticity from the very beginning. From the very first visits to New York in the early 2000s, the legendary New Era caps were omnipresent - whether on the streets of Brooklyn or in music videos of the time. These encounters left a lasting impression and shaped LFDY.
The exclusive collaboration is dedicated to the 59FIFTY Low Profile model with the iconic New Era flag on the left side. The cap will be available for the first time with the classic LF and DY cap motifs from LFDY and in the three colorways Green, Blue and Black. To emphasize the uniqueness of this collaboration, the LFDY x New Era cap will be launched as part of a new LFDY capsule. The collection comprises around 20 pieces, including the 59FIFTY Low Profile Cap, and symbolizes the characteristic spirit of the streetwear and hip-hop scene with styles such as the Full Raw Denim Fits.
The collaboration between LFDY and New Era is not just a one-off drop, but the start of a long-term partnership. Both brands share the vision of constantly setting new standards through creative synergies - and are still in the family business today. The LFDY x New Era collection will be available online at livefastdieyoung.com and in the LFDY stores in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Munich and London from August 31, 2024 at 11 a.m.
