One Forty West

The skyscraper

At a height of 140 meters, One Forty West offers a lifestyle concept of exclusive apartments plus the advantages of a 4-star-plus hotel that is unique in Germany in this dimension. The hybrid skyscraper, which has been under construction in the Senckenberg Quarter in Frankfurt am Main since the end of 2016, is an urban development project of the future between Bockenheim and Westend. The developer is Commerz Real, which acquired the site for the open-ended real estate fund HausInvest in 2015, in a joint venture with the project developer Groß&Partner. The first 23 floors will be occupied by a hotel owned by the Spanish Meliá Group, which has already signed a 25-year lease. The remaining floors are designed for 187 apartments. Final completion was in autumn 2021.

The brand ambassador Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner is currently considered one of the best German designers. In his designs, he mixes modern forms with traditional craftsmanship, making it onto the list of Germany's best-known industrial designers in less than a decade. Herkner is brand ambassador for One Forty West in Frankfurt am Main, where living, gastronomy, hotel and design-oriented lifestyle combine.

Born in Offenbach, he has been closely associated with Frankfurt for years and remains fascinated by the constant change and development of the city, its scene and versatility. In the internationality of his lies also the parallel to the skyscraper in terms of content. As an ambassador, Sebastian Herkner embodies the brand essence and lifestyle of One Forty West in his daily work and lives both authentically.
